TRAGIC END OF PROLIFIC NOVELIST KEN

Everyone is temporary their be best friends, enemies, boyfriends/girlfriends , parents. Everyone comes and goes at their own rate. Generally it's called inside life. A tree has fallen. Many will remember him through his  great creative literature. On 15th April the country wake up to saddening news, in that the Swahili literature king professor Ken was no longer with us after the three days pronounced missing . His death hitted Swahili nation with great shock and pain. Ken was well known for his love for kiswahili language. He work to ensure kiswahili was an  equal any other language and he was against any individuals who demean kiswahili and consider English as superior language. His passing on was hard to believe, hardly when the media fill the air with the shocking news.

He live a life of its own where by he champion on the issue justice and humanity, this is seen  in his creative imaginative literature books he once write. Ken managed to write a number of books in his life. His novel has made him famous in the world of Swahili literature. In 2015 professor Ken Walibora was awarded Jomo Kenyatta Literature Prize fallowing the great message from his books  of "Ndoto ya Amerika, Kisasi Hapana and Nasikia Sauti Ya Mama". Also 2014 to 2017 his novel and stories "Kidagaa Kimemwozea, Damu Nyeusi and Maskini Babu Yangu" was use as a set text in high school and was tested in KCSE  kiswahili examinations. Ken didn't love only Kiswahili language but also he show alot of love to English language as this is seen in one of  his novel he once wrote in  the year 1996 "Siku Njema"
Ken Walibora was not only a novelist but also a great media personality I still remember he was once a football commentor in  Kbc radio idhaa ya kiswahili, he also once became a translator. Recently Ken has been working on the leading East Africa Media Company Nation  Media Group whereby he was the chief editor of Taifa Leo newspaper he was also a newscaster of Swahili news in Qtv and later on Nation Television. His ownership of Swahili language made him to become a Quality Manager of Ntv.
Upto recently before death robbed him in what is allegedly to be on road accident Ken Walibora has been lecturing in the University of International Relations and Diplomacy of Riara. Someone once said writers never does...Ken will be remember forever.

Ndoto yangu tena sina, ya Al-masi mefifia
Shamba lake sasa hana, la miwa ‘ngepalilia
     Kidagaa ‘Menozea

Lala pema Walibora, dua nimekutilia
Umenacha hali bora, titilo linipatia
Hali yangu medorora, kifo chako ninalia
